My creative process is driven by intuition and spontaneity. I might use memory, dreams or family photographs as a starting point. I am also inspired by other artists - notably Marc Chagall, Emil Nolde, Francis Bacon and Ken Kiff and might use their colour palette as a starting point, before creating something personal out of that.
I use a range of of mixed media including acrylic paint, watercolour, pastels, oil transfer and collage. I love the magic of 'accidents' when I can let go of expectation of what paint might do and trust the process.
I have attended various art courses and workshops but am mostly self-taught.
